Late at night, after I drop my last friend off at their house to sleep, I usually go for a drive. I'll pop in some David Usher, and drive along the empty streets. I've realized that some of the most beautiful things can only be seen at night, illuminated by yellow street lights and car beams.
There's a street I turn down, which curves slightly to the left, and lined with deep yellow street lights along one side. It is the lonliest sight, and yet extremely beautiful, all at the same time.
And stopped at a street light downtown, I noticed that a yellow traffic light, reflected in the store front on the other side of the street, was flashing in rhythm to the song playing on the CD.
And that the appartment above Hempware still has its christmas lights hung up...looking oddly out of place and at home all at the same time.
And that being the only car driving along the harbour front makes it seem that all the lights on the boats are their just for you...
Scenes a camera couldn't capture....luckily, my memory has a flash and a large storage disk.

Sara and I have decided that conversation is so much easier with the involvement of emoticons. They sum up feelings very well, and make it possible to express a thought more easily than words.
Today, without saying anything, is a very :( day. It's not just the 'sad', it's a feeling more than that, that is just summed up well in the whole look of the :(.
So, today: :(
Tommorrow, who knows. We'll see.
